Section II
If you are applying to foster a DOG, please complete the following questions. If you are applying to foster a CAT, please skip to Section III.
Do you have a pool?      If yes, is it:
Will your foster dog/puppy be allowed outside unattended during the day/night? 
If your yard is not fenced, what method of restraint do you intend to use?
Will your foster dog/puppy be allowed to ride in the back of a pick-up truck?
How many hours a day will the your foster dog/puppy usually be left alone?
Where will the dog/puppy be kept when alone?
If confined in a room, which room?     If crated, where will the crate be kept?
Where will your foster dog/puppy sleep at night?
How often and what kind of exercise will you give the dog/puppy?
Are there times when you expect to leave the dog/puppy tied outside?      If yes, when?
What method of training/discipline will you use?
Some animals are either not housetrained, or when introduced to new surroundings, or when stressed, or as an attention getter, will have housetraining issues. How will you correct your foster dog/puppy if an accident occurs?

Furry Suits Rescue holds adoption events each weekend at PetSmart in Sterling, VA. These events allow our animals to meet potential adopters, and offer the best chance for our animals to find permanent homes. Are you willing to bring your foster dog/puppy to adoption events at least twice a month?
If you are unable to accompany your foster dog/puppy to an adoption event, are you willing to arrange transportation for the dog?

 


Section III
If you are applying to foster a CAT, please complete the following questions. If you are applying to foster a DOG, please skip to Section IV.
Cats fostered for Furry Suits Rescue MUST be kept indoors, unless being walked on a leash. Are you willing to keep your foster cat/kitten indoors?
Furry Suits Rescue holds adoption events each weekend. These events allow our animals to meet potential adopters, and offer the best chance for our animals to find permanent homes. Are you willing to bring the cat/kitten that you are fostering to adoption events at least twice a month?
If you are unable to bring the cat/kitten to adoption events, or if the cat/kitten does not tolerate adoption events, are you willing to allow potential adopters to meet the cat/kitten in your home, by appointment?
Where will you keep your foster cat/kitten's litter box?
Some animals are either not housetrained, or when introduced to new surroundings, or when stressed, or as an attention getter, will have housetraining issues. How will you correct your foster cat/kitten if an accident occurs?
Where will your foster cat/kitten sleep?

 


Section IV
